BD Map বাংলাদেশে যাতায়াত, ঘোরাঘুরি আর মানুষের সাথে যোগাযোগের অ্যাপ। এখানে সোজা ভাষায় লেখা আছে আমরা কী তথ্য রাখি, কেন রাখি, কোথায় যায়, আর আপনি কীভাবে সব মুছে ফেলতে পারেন।
সংক্ষেপে: আমরা বিজ্ঞাপন দেখাই না, আপনার তথ্য বিক্রি করি না, কোনো বিজ্ঞাপন বা ট্র্যাকিং কোম্পানির কোড অ্যাপে নেই। অ্যাকাউন্ট মুছলে আপনার সব তথ্য ও ফাইল আমাদের সার্ভার আর ব্যাকআপ থেকে মুছে যায়।
১. আমরা যা রাখি

২. লোকেশন, ক্যামেরা, মাইক্রোফোন
- লোকেশন শুধু আপনি অনুমতি দিলে, ম্যাপে আপনার জায়গা দেখাতে, কাছের জায়গা খুঁজতে ও রাস্তা দেখাতে ব্যবহার হয়। কাছের জায়গা খোঁজার সময় অবস্থান আমাদের সার্ভারে যায় কিন্তু রাখা হয় না। শুধু আপনি নিজে কোনো পোস্টে জায়গা যোগ করলে বা চ্যাটে লোকেশন পাঠালে তা রাখা হয়।
- লোকেশনের অনুমতি না দিলে, ম্যাপ খোলার জন্য ইন্টারনেট সংযোগ থেকে আনুমানিক শহর বের করা হয় (ipapi.co সেবা, যারা আপনার IP ঠিকানা দেখে)।
- ক্যামেরা ও মাইক্রোফোন শুধু তখনই, যখন আপনি ছবি/ভিডিও তোলেন, ভয়েস মেসেজ রেকর্ড করেন, কল করেন বা লাইভে যান। কল রেকর্ড বা সংরক্ষণ করা হয় না।
৩. যাদের সাথে তথ্য যায়
অ্যাপ চালাতে কিছু সেবা ব্যবহার হয়। তারা শুধু নিজের কাজটুকুর জন্য তথ্য পায়:
- Render: আমাদের সার্ভার চলে এখানে।
- Cloudflare R2: ছবি, ভিডিও, ম্যাপ ফাইল এবং ডাটাবেসের ব্যাকআপ রাখা হয়।
- ই-মেইল সেবা (Brevo বা SMTP): লগইনের কোড পাঠাতে আপনার ই-মেইল ঠিকানা যায়।
- metered.ca: সরাসরি সংযোগ না হলে কলের এনক্রিপ্টেড আওয়াজ/ভিডিও এর মাধ্যমে যায়; তারা কল শুনতে বা রাখতে পারে না।
- ম্যাপ ও খোঁজ: OpenFreeMap, Esri/ArcGIS (স্যাটেলাইট ছবি), OpenStreetMap (Nominatim), Photon, OSRM (রাস্তা), Overpass। ম্যাপ দেখতে, জায়গা খুঁজতে বা রাস্তা বের করতে আপনার ডিভাইস এদের কাছে অনুরোধ পাঠায় (যে জায়গা দেখছেন/খুঁজছেন এবং IP ঠিকানা)।
- Wikipedia / Wikimedia: জায়গার বর্ণনা ও ছবি।
- Jamendo: পোস্টে গান যোগ করার মিউজিক লাইব্রেরি।
- Google Fonts, unpkg, jsDelivr, cdnjs, Google Cloud Storage: অক্ষরের ফন্ট, কিছু কোড লাইব্রেরি এবং ক্যামেরার ফেস ফিল্টারের মডেল নামানোর জন্য।
আইন অনুযায়ী বাধ্য হলে বা কারও নিরাপত্তা রক্ষায় প্রয়োজন হলে ছাড়া আমরা আর কারও সাথে আপনার তথ্য শেয়ার করি না।
৪. কতদিন থাকে, কীভাবে মুছবেন
- আপনি না মোছা পর্যন্ত আপনার তথ্য থাকে। পোস্ট, স্টোরি বা পাঠানো মেসেজ যেকোনো সময় মুছতে পারেন; মুছলে ফাইলটি সার্ভার ও ব্যাকআপ দুই জায়গা থেকেই মুছে যায়।
- অ্যাকাউন্ট মুছতে: প্রোফাইল → ⚙️ সেটিংস → "অ্যাকাউন্ট মুছে ফেলুন"। আপনার প্রোফাইল, পোস্ট, ছবি-ভিডিও, মেসেজ ও তার ফাইল, ফলোয়ার, পয়েন্ট, রেটিং, রিভিউ, সাপোর্টের কথা — সব সঙ্গে সঙ্গে মুছে যায়। ডাটাবেসের ব্যাকআপ কপিটি কয়েক মিনিটের মধ্যে নতুন কপি দিয়ে বদলে যায়। বিস্তারিত: অ্যাকাউন্ট মোছার পাতা।
- লগইনের কোড ১০ মিনিটে, না-ব্যবহৃত আপলোড এক ঘণ্টায় মুছে যায়।
৫. নিরাপত্তা
সব সংযোগ HTTPS দিয়ে এনক্রিপ্টেড। লগইন হয় ই-মেইলে পাঠানো কোড দিয়ে (পাসওয়ার্ড রাখা হয় না), চাইলে দুই ধাপের যাচাই (অথেনটিকেটর অ্যাপ) চালু করা যায়। তবুও ইন্টারনেটে কোনো ব্যবস্থাই শতভাগ নিরাপদ নয়।
৬. শিশুরা
BD Map-এ অ্যাকাউন্ট খুলতে বয়স কমপক্ষে ১৩ বছর হতে হবে। ১৩ বছরের কম কারও অ্যাকাউন্টের খবর পেলে আমরা তা মুছে দিই।
৭. আপনার অধিকার
আপনি যেকোনো সময় নিজের প্রোফাইল দেখতে ও বদলাতে, পোস্ট মুছতে, কাউকে ব্লক করতে, আপনার কার্যকলাপ (অনলাইন থাকা) লুকাতে এবং পুরো অ্যাকাউন্ট মুছে ফেলতে পারেন।
৮. পরিবর্তন ও যোগাযোগ
এই পলিসি বদলালে এই পাতায় নতুন তারিখ দেওয়া হবে, বড় পরিবর্তন হলে অ্যাপেও জানানো হবে। প্রশ্ন থাকলে help@manzeela.com ঠিকানায় ই-মেইল করুন, অথবা অ্যাপের সাহায্য পাতা থেকে লিখুন।

BD Map is an app for getting around Bangladesh, travelling, and keeping in touch with people. This page says, in plain words, what we keep, why, where it goes, and how you can delete all of it.
In short: we show no ads, we do not sell your data, and the app contains no advertising or tracking code. When you delete your account, your data and files are removed from our servers and from our backups.
1. What we keep

2. Location, camera, microphone
- Location is used only with your permission: to show where you are on the map, find nearby places and give directions. A nearby search sends your position to our server, which does not keep it. Location is stored only when you add a place to a post or send your location in a chat.
- If you do not allow location, the app estimates your city from your internet connection so the map opens nearby (the ipapi.co service, which sees your IP address).
- Camera and microphone are used only while you take a photo or video, record a voice message, make a call or go live. Calls are not recorded or stored.
3. Who data goes to
A few services help run the app. Each receives only what its job needs:
- Render: hosts our server.
- Cloudflare R2: stores photos, videos, map files and backups of the database.
- E-mail service (Brevo or SMTP): receives your e-mail address to send sign-in codes.
- metered.ca: relays the encrypted sound and video of a call when a direct connection is not possible; it cannot hear or keep the call.
- Maps and search: OpenFreeMap, Esri/ArcGIS (satellite imagery), OpenStreetMap (Nominatim), Photon, OSRM (routes), Overpass. To show the map, search places or find a route, your device sends them requests (the area you are viewing or searching, and your IP address).
- Wikipedia / Wikimedia: place descriptions and pictures.
- Jamendo: the music library for adding songs to posts.
- Google Fonts, unpkg, jsDelivr, cdnjs, Google Cloud Storage: fonts, some code libraries, and the model for camera face filters.
We do not share your data with anyone else, unless the law requires it or someone's safety depends on it.
4. How long, and how to delete
- Your data stays until you delete it. You can delete posts, stories and messages you sent at any time; the file is removed from the server and from the backup.
- To delete your account: Profile → ⚙️ Settings → "Delete account". Your profile, posts, photos and videos, messages and their files, followers, points, ratings, reviews and support conversations are deleted at once. The backup copy of the database is replaced by a new copy within minutes. Details: Deleting your account.
- Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes; unused uploads are removed after an hour.
5. Security
All connections are encrypted with HTTPS. You sign in with a code sent by e-mail (no password is stored), and you can turn on two-step verification with an authenticator app. Still, no system on the internet is perfectly secure.
6. Children
You must be at least 13 to have a BD Map account. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 13, we delete it.
7. Your choices
You can see and change your profile, delete posts, block people, hide your activity status, and delete your whole account at any time.
8. Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the new date appears on this page, and the app tells you about big changes. For questions, e-mail help@manzeela.com or write to us from the Help page in the app.
